We went on a cruise in '77 and got to tour Caracas.
I could not believe how it had changed! The Tamanaco

si
Caracas se cae Caracas se mantiene
Caracas de azúcar Caracas de acero.
« Aquí practicamos, aquí lo logramos »
clama la Renault, europeos con convicción. Contigo
Basura desbordante,sol aplastante.
Niños morenitos andan abandonados. “Paga tus tributos”

Littleton, Colorado |
- Two years of college at Earlham
College in Richmond, Indiana, then transferred to
Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO
graduating with a BS in Math plus courses in
Information Technology.
- I've lived in Colorado ever since
with a career in IT, first in several jobs at CSU,
then at the City of Lakewood, Colorado. Finally I
moved to Johns Manville for almost 30 years, where I
enjoyed various jobs, and retired at the beginning
of 2009.
- I married shortly after
graduating and had a son in 1968. My marriage ended
in divorce a long time ago, but my son is married,
with 2 daughters, and lives in McLean, Virginia. I
enjoy my time with them a lot.
- Along the way I have been treated
for both breast and colon cancer, but I have been
cancer-free for over 5 years.
- Now I'm working on the "To Do"
list I've built for years and figuring out what how
best to spend my time. I enjoy the Colorado
Symphony, walking under Colorado's sunny skies,
church activities, reading, cooking, and hosting
international visitors for dinner. I've enjoy
traveling and have been to Australia 5 times (my
brother lives there). I really enjoyed my trip to
Italy and am looking ahead to a trip to England.

- I left Venezuela and went to
Radford College in VA for 2 years, then back home
with my parents in Panama.
- Got engaged, went to Lexington,
KY, broke my engagement, married another person from
PA and, guess where we went? back to Panama.
- We traveled all over after that
and we were married for 17 years and had 3 children.
then we divorced. So, the kids and I stayed in
Houston till 1990, then I remarried, moved to Baton
Rouge and after 8 terrible months, I divorced my
second husband.
- I moved back to Houston in 2001
and had several jobs in different fields,
healthcare, consulting, private practice
(administrative), then after being diagnosed in 2002
with breast cancer, I moved here to the Hill Country
of Texas.
- I love it here. I am cancer free
and enjoy my friends and family. I work 2 jobs, one
for an attorney, as an adm. asst., and as an adm.
asst. for an environmental group. We do primarily
government work.
- My children and 5 grandchildren
live in Houston, Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
- I still love to travel. Have been
to Normandy 5 times with my Dad (who passed away
this past September at age 94). He was a D-Day
Veteran and love going to France for the ceremonies.
